Malbec grapes are hand-harvested but clusters were pressed softly at very low pressure so that the must did not take on any colour from the skin. All Devassa is brewed, bottled and imported from Brazil where it has achieved cult status. It has a little more body and bitterness than most South American lagers because it is brewed in 5000 litre batches using imported malts and conditioned for at least 15 days for extra refreshment.
